Ok, so a while back I mentioned about renovating a condo.... a really teeny, tiny condo I purchased some time ago.
Anyways, although it's something real personal to me, I've decided to share with you, my readers, what will probably be a very long, ongoing process, the renovations that will be taking place. Feel free at anytime to offer your suggestions, ideas or expert opinions.
So, as mentioned, it's a very small condo, roughly 950 sq.ft. of space (not including the basement). It has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Now, this part with having only 1 bathroom does not sit well with me. If I want to sell this later, this might be a deterent. I will have to see later if something can be done about this.
So, yesterday I decided to try my hand at making some chicken feet soup.
I'm not trying to gross anyone out here, but this was an actual dish from the islands I tried many moons ago, (35 years to be exact), and it actually tasted good - at the time. For some strange reason, I wanted to try to make it myself and use up some of that chicken feet I bought awhile back.
Everything went great. The soup - according to a few friends, tasted great also. They chewed on those bones like they were going out of style! Of course, this was probably not as good as the one I had from the islands, but nevertheless it was still good! The chicken feet gave it great flavour!
Anyways, for those of you who may actually would like to make this recipe, I have decided to post the recipe below. However, if you have a weak stomach...
So today I went shopping for some groceries and decided to go early in the morning before the crowd came. Boy did I have a pleasant surprise. I couldn't get over the 'colourful' displays that appeared before me when I entered the supermarket....
Ok, so remember way back when, around some time in April, (lol, it felt like ages ago), when I did a post on my son's artwork entitled A Work in Progess...? Well, it's finally done. Actually it's been done for over a month but I'm only now getting around to posting it.
Anyways, for all you great readers who have been following along, here is the before and after of his work.

I love playing around with my camera. On this day, I took various shots from different angles of a single plant in a hanging flower pot to create the illusion of flowers in my garden...
